To support Transition to School, the NSW Department of Education has published a resource pack for early childhood professionals and children to engage in effective and meaningful preparation for school. West Bathurst Preschool educators will be utilising the storybook ‘Daisy’s First Day’ from the resource pack to facilitate conversations about what children might experience in a typical school day. Parents and carers are encouraged to visit the Transition to School section of the NSW Department of Education Early Childhood Education website for information.
